'Plastics' is a pathetically childish term. I've had season tickets before but choose not to have one now because there are more important things in my life than football. I suppose that makes me a plastic too.

It winds me up too sausage!

All the years I spent travelling around the country supporting the Reds. facing a potential kicking during the 70's & 80's, but we still went.

Then over the years, life, work and ill health have had more of a say in my life and now I cannot get to as many games as I'd like to. Couple that with the fact you can't get a ticket for love nor money these days and I have suddenly become a 'plastic' fan.

Its relatively straightforward to get a ticket for most matches, and why would you be deemed to be a plastic fan, that genuinely makes no sense.

Seems folk want to be offended for the sake of it.

Makes you wonder how next seasons 3 promoted teams will fare.

Leicester nailed on for points deduction

I haven’t watched much Ipswich but they feel like a Burnley instead of a Luton, does McKenna keep to what got them promoted regardless of results or does he do a cooper and make them hard to beat

And if it’s Leeds or southampton what kinda team will they be? Yes they’ve both done quite well though southampton struggled more then Leeds

I watched a bit of Southampton the other week and they're playing an uber form of Russell Martin's Swansea passing game. They just try to pass around the opposition, never play a long ball and instead prefer to maintain possession rather than chuck it into the box. I'm completely bored watching them, I hate that possesion based football. It reminded me of Warburton's football where the defence spent half the game passing it between themselves. In the premier league that kind of football is going to be incredibly difficult to pull off, as Kompany has found out this season. And as with Kompany, you'd imagine Martin would be unwilling to change the style and go to more of a low block.

I think its a bit different with Leicester. That whole club is geared up for the premier league and let's face it, they shouldn't have gone down in the first place really. I reckon they can take a points deduction and still finish mid table, such is the wherewithal within the club.

The club might be but the squad isn't and the manager is untested. Burnley got more points going up out of the champ when they came up last season. 

They look like they are going to lose a few players too so it's how good the recruitment is and how much they are willing to spend. Ndidi and Iheanacho likely to leave on frees. Big players to lose for nothing and will cost to replace. Dewsbury-Hall could also be sold to balance the books. 

Daka not good enough for the prem and relying on a 38 year old Jamie Vardy will not help. 

I'm intrigued to see how they go.

According to Kieran Maguire, because two of the relegated clubs are coming back up then the Premier League is saving £103m in parachute payments, which will be split among the other clubs. Doesn't say if that's equally or based on league positions but we'll get something from it.
