I do think if we'd got Dyche somehow at some point we'd likely be at least where Everton are now. Think he's just underrated due to his teams style though.

I imagine we'd be higher up and everyone complaining we didn't get Glasner as Dyche style is terrible.

When Cooper was struggling mid last season I was calling for Dyche to come in. I reckon he'd have been great for us. Dyche ball is not champagne football but is it any less entertaining than the football we've been playing under Cooper and Nuno? Probably not. What I will say is that Dyche inherited Tarcowski and McNeil at Everton. They were two very good players who he knew very well. I'm not sure we have that talent here so maybe we wouldn't be as effective as they are. We have Wood now, who has the Burnley connection, so maybe Dyche would have gone all out to get him too.

Mcneil and Tarkowski have only been good under Dyche, not sure they're good otherwise. We'd probably have signed them anyway lol (and Wood of course).

Tarkowski was really rated at Burnley and he's shown he's decent at Everton too. I suspect their good set play stats are primarily because of his aerial ability. He'd walk into our side.

Well at least Man City don't appear to be in great form. Oh, hang on...

Nothing to worry about. They only got a free kick for slipping over.

They've run out of steam in the second half. That's when we'll pounce.

Nope, not after seeing the one Brighton didn't get tonight.

Oh I’d say there is the good chance that City get 3 penalties against us

Nuno needs to be tactically smart. Last season we saw a Cooper master class in this game. Frustrate them for an hour, getting men behind the ball, filling all the spaces and after an hour as they began to tire make a couple of attacking substitutions and go for them more. Similar tactics and some luck is the only way we get anything on Sunday. I am not sure Nuno has got the tactical flexibility to do that in a game but we will see.
