I honestly don't care what they throw at us Ozzy mate.
I have been fairly quiet on this issue because I wanted to have a good think about it.
I have now come to the conclusion that I am proud of my club for doing what they are doing and for taking a stance.
Other clubs , fans and pundits etc can say what they like I honestly couldn't give a toss.
But we are the ones who are standing up to the 'school bully' and if others want to hide behind their sofas in fear then shame on them.
Well said.

Who is the school bully? We've had some bad decisions but there's no-one out to get us (or at least there wasn't!)
I just don't see what we're hoping to achieve? Get all the refs sacked? The refs are poor but what is the solution?

What is the alternative?
To stay quiet and to do nothing, just roll over like a soppy old dog, give a V for vivtory sign and say yeah peace man.
Sorry Wassy but if you want to stay quiet then you become part of the problem.

The one and only thing that should matter is Forest staying in the Premier League.
That means giving ourselves the best chance to win today’s appeal hearing, again if you don’t think there will be unconscious bias on this one you are naive.
More importantly we need to give our under achieving team the best chance to win on the pitch. I don’t see how this distraction helps us in any way.
Fine, make a principled stand but do it from a position of strength with us sitting comfortably on 36 points. There are no prizes for being the team who called out wrong doing and get relegated. If we go down our stand will be forgotten about. Also its somewhat disingenuous of us to be complaining about the rules in VAR then to have been breaking them in PSR.

At least now the PL won’t be able to sweep it under the carpet, the can of worms is open and VAR will now be scrutinised within an inch of their lives. You watch this weekend, every dodgy decision will be dissected by the ‘experts’ who are now starting to turn, Rio Ferdinand questioned a decision last night. It can only be a good thing, they aren’t going to be able to hide now. Things will change from this.
This is a great point.
Even now, by only letting Forest listening to the audio in private and only covering one clip in their 'Mic'd Up' show the PGMOL/Premier League are *still* ducking accountability.
If we're going to stick with VAR - which we will, there's no way they'll bin it - then the system has to be improved. The debate we've raised the profile of might help do that.

None of the above will help us when we are in the Championship.
Getting a bit frustrated by all this noble thing we are doing, moral high ground stuff particularly when we have broken PSR rules and behaved in a careless manner towards supporters over ticket prices.
We have a team that needs to get at least 4 more points fro its last 4 games or all our foot stamping becomes irrelevant. Get your priorities in order.

I couldn't actually disagree more, SM. Other than saying we need to stay in the league...of course that's the priority!
It is an independent panel, ie not the FA and certainly not PGMOL, so why would there be any issues with them from us going after the FA and PGMOL. Of course, that's assuming it truly is independent. If it is, then actually I think we might get bias the other way - they might see that we've been on the end of a huge amount of awful decisions. They might then go, actually yeah, why did they only get 2 weeks notice? Why didn't they get to write off promotion bonusses? Why did they only get £2.5M in Covid losses??
And on the pitch....a lot of people have been calling for us to have a siege mentality...this process against the FA can be part of it, surely? The players are pissed at the decisions, it's exactly what people have been asking for.
Finally....if we did go down, that exactly when it would go supernova. If we escape relegation, despite all the headwinds, then that's when it's more likely to whimper out.

The two aren't mutually exclusive. In fact, going into 'Rebel Mode' might be just what we need to stay up. Let's face it, the team didn't show any kind of fight against Everton. If we rolled over and just accepted another set of game-changing decisions against us, that feeling of inertia could spread throughout the club making it easier for the players to shrug, give up, and go through the motions.
By stoking the fires of injustice, however, maybe we can build up that 'us against the world' sentiment that has proven to make a difference to teams in the past (e.g. Everton after their first points deduction).

If mine is a minority opinion then fair enough. IMO think both the fans plus the ownership and management are getting distracted from what is important. I haven’t noticed a siege mentality from the team.
Also I think you are failing to realise if we are no longer a Premier League club, we are no longer newsworthy. We get relegated, we go back to being an afterthought, on a different page in football websites, we can moan and wail and produce reams of evidence but nobody will hear it.

For me it has to end with officials losing their jobs.
In any other walk of life it would be unacceptable and their positions would be untenable.
Doesn't help us in any way at all other than ensuring they don't ref us again!/
First the points and then the pints….

I don’t think anyone fails to realise that. But if fans and the behind the scenes management are distracted by all this, it has no bearing on team performance.
I totally agree we haven’t shown a siege-like mentality, which is a bit pathetic at this stage. My point is that a good manager could use the situation as a catalyst to build one.
Luckily we do all different opinions or the forum would be a bit boring, right?
