Nottingham Forest - Wolves

Brentford now safe I would say and no doubt players will put in a half shift against Luton. We really need to keep Everton honest for their game against Luton. So a must win away game up next against a team that will be licking their lips and our weakness at defending set plays.

I never felt comfortable tbh. Wolves have quality and their players came through for them.

Yeah but it's not like they carved us open all game , we literally gifted them an equaliser. We're good at that.

Apparently we have the record this season for the most points dropped from a winning position 51.

Yes Danillo and Reyna should be taking the corners.

Every f***ing week. Can't defend a lead. Just shocking on set pieces. We've had so many opportunities to put distance between ourselves and the bottom 3 and we've bottled it. Ribeiro looked lively but Nuno got his other subs completely wrong. Origi consistently makes the wrong decision.
Time for the big man to start questioning what we are doing on the training pitch because we have made zero progress in defending corners, in fact we've gotten worse.

We are very good at shooting ourselves in the foot. Another lead squandered due to an inability to defend set pieces.

Ultimately, looking at our respective run in with Luton and I start to worry. They've got a lot mid table teams to play that have not much to play for.

Plus Luton have 3 at home - against Brentford (safe), Everton (could be safe), Fulham (safe). There away games aren't that challenging with west ham and Wolves.

Precisely. I am not hopeful at all. We simply had to win this game today.

It's ultimately not just today. Draws against palace, Luton in recent weeks have been costly. We are not good enough and if we go down we ultimately will have brought it on ourselves. We can blame var, we can blame refs, we can blame point deductions but too often in the crunch moments this season, this side had not been good enough.

We got three massive away fixtures where we need to do something we've shown little evidence of all season and that is win.

I just don't know if this crop of players has the right fighting mentality to do to that.

Mid table teams not trying is a thing of the past. It just doesnt happen now in the prem. Fulham were 0-3 down to us at HT the other week and they still gave it a good go in the 2nd.

Positives
We were the better team, 18 shots 9 on target, played some good stuff
Different approach to attacking corners
Reyna was very good as was Danilo
Murillos 1st half clearance
Dominguez when he came on

Negatives
Set pieces yet again.
We are running out of time
