Nuno Espirito Santo
I think Nuno should at least be giving the summer. Let him bring in his own players. He will want a big strong quick forward as he loves them, I think a pre season and his own players, we will be competing top half next season

MGW says Nuno is a brilliant manger who is massively underrated.

That is what matters to me - what the players think.

I’m very happy for him to prove me wrong

The relationship between EM and the manager looks really strong based on the footage from after the Fulham game. The players seem a lot happier now too. We haven’t got the results we perhaps wanted, but we have been unlucky and set pieces have cost us. Hopefully a full transfer window will allow Nuno to shape the squad more in his image

That said it was the right thing at the right time and some of the football was hard to watch at best.

The style of play under Nuno is far more entertaining and whilst I appreciate results haven't improved significantly (mitigating factors detailed elsewhere) the brand of football certainly feels better (on matchdays at least).

I would be happy to start next season with Nuno in charge, having had a summer to shape the squad as he desires (and is able to) and see how this style of football could be developed.

Now we are getting players back hopefully Nuno can get a settled team / squad and his preference for a smaller group should help on many fronts going forward.

Be nice if the crowd could get behind him over time.

+1

Agreed.

Don’t want to go off topic but I hope he’s after 3 players-
a big strong quick CF who can stay fit
a big strong quick CB who can stay fit
A big strong quick CM

I wonder if we can sell worral and Murillo and buy Tarkowski and Dunk?
Trade-in Sangare for Onana?
Part-ex Taiwo for Solanke?

Job done lol

In Nuno I trust
Some simple changes he has made from cooper
New improved keeper Sels
Nico back in team playing well
Introduction of omabamadele
Growth of Murillo
Danilo and Dominguez regulars
Chris wood playing regular
New 4231 attacking formation and better on the eye with more possession
Come on you mighty Reds

I think Nuno has made some very brave decisions since joining. There aren’t many managers who would put their faith in two 21 year old centre backs in our league position. He’s put faith in Omo, Murillo and Williams, who Cooper didn’t fully trust. He’s also got the best out of Dominguez and Danilo looked great against Fulham. He’s transformed Wood and was brave enough to decide that we needed a new keeper, despite the embarrassment of us buying two keepers this season already. Hopefully he can really build on this season going forwards
