Especially with the euros happening in June too.
It's going to be ridiculous. Wouldn't surprise me to see lots of 'swaps' going on between clubs in similar situations with like for like players. Recognise all the income immediately, amortise the spend over the contract. I'll swap you a Gibbs-White for a Dewsbury-Hall - both for £60M quid. Though that wouldn't work very well for us....with MGW fee still being paid off?!? But you get my gist.....
Pretty sure Juventus got in trouble for exactly that.

Be a good window to be a team with capacity to spend, some bargains will be available.
Chelsea will probably make around 100m of sales.

There will be a few games going on. Chelsea will want to sell Gallagher for £50m, so they can include him in this seasons figures. Tottenham know this so will be offering £30m. All while he's (probably) in Germany with England.
Betting on selling a player in June is not a great strategy to rely on.

Seems like clubs will have to including us
Everton, Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, Wolves, wouldn’t be surprised if Bournemouth have to sell after spending around 200m since promotion.

Toney will be leaving Brentford too although that's probably not being forced on them by ffp reasons the stiffs.

Ive tried to do a poll before too, couldn’t see how to. Need to ask a teenager probably!
Anyhow, I would stick but Im not sure that’s what we will do reading the club statement.
Also worth saying Ive been surprised most sensible media reaction has been pretty sympathetic to our case, especially given the neutral optics of how much we spent and how many signings we made.

Why haven’t our transfers been amortised? I just don’t get how we are in danger of breaching this year?

Top 6 will be circling then Wassy. Only ones who can spend this summer without selling it seems.

But the Prem also have a right of appeal. Can we abandon if they too have also exercised their right of appeal?

To that end, on 1 March 2022, Forest made its filing with the EFL in fulfilment of the CPSR requirements; its last one before being promoted to the Premier League approximately three months later. In this filing, Forest claimed a Covid Add-Back allowance of £12,178,000.
5.6 On 4 July 2022, some two months after achieving promotion to the Premier League, Forest sent the same information previously provided to the EFL on 1 March 2022, to the Premier League
On 2 June 2023, the Premier League informed Forest, in relation to its PSR Calculation for the 2022/23 season, inter alia that: it would only allow a Covid Add-Back of £2.5m for FY22, not the entire £12,178,000 claimed and it would not allow Forest to claim any allowances for costs linked to promotion from the EFL Championship.
4 July 2022 we submitted information to PL about Covid Allowances it took them 11 months to 2 June 2023 to say we were only allowed 2.5m. That from the PL is embarrasing
Shouldn't take 11 months to say something can't be included.
