He did exactly what cooper did against Luton and got the same result
Cooper needed to go, but Nuno is no better

Whatever they are doing in training to improve defending set pieces, isn’t working. Get a manager/ coach in who has a reputation for making it sink in

He's a fookin bottle job, and why on earth is Gibbs White still being allowed to take all the set pieces, if we can all see it then why can't Nuno, his decision making is more than questionable, if and I mean if we manage to stay in the prem, then I'm afraid the big man is going to have to bring in another manager and he will need to get him in before the start of next season.
I'm afraid Nuno is not the manager I thought he was, the big man has made a mistake.

Careful, that talk will get you a ban

Yes Nuno may not be the man to take us forward, Yes he has made multiple mistakes, Like a lot of managers do, He has been dropped into a sticky situation, it is tough.

Sticky job or not, he still hasn't addressed our frailties, especially in defense, and he has yet to decide what our best midfield is, and can be not see that we need a change of a set piece player, Gibbs White cannot clear the first payers especially on taking corner kicks, take the job off him and let someone else have a go because it clearly isn't working.

Nuno has 5 points from 9 games and one win.
This calendar year Nuno's stats are worse than Chris Wilders. Let that sink in.

Yep. Nuno ball isn’t working for me.
Those 2024 stats don’t make great reading.
Afcon players gone.
Taiwo has only started 4 games since the turn of the year Wood has only started 4 games since the turn of the year and was subbed at half time injured in one and subbed off injured in todays. 3 afcon finalists came back injured, aina a starter is still out, Boly got his first start today, so did Sangare. Taraves took over from aina couldn’t play against Arsenal but was building a good relationship with CHO and then got injured. I’m sure that would be hard for any manager to try and juggle.

All other teams have had to contend with injuries etc. I accept we have had some shocking decisions go against us and what will be a points deduction but we are not looking at winning the league just finishing higher than the three promoted teams. Those teams are weaker than the three relegated last season. We should be able to do it but tomorrow we will be in the relegation zone. Nuno has not improved us. We may have got worse. 9 games to go we need somebody who will improve our results.

Shrinking violets at set pieces - no one is in charge organising. It’s a calamity every single time.

Shall we go back to getting mugged 5-0 by Fulham then?
It’s sad to see but being in the prem has changed a lot of fans, do you forget Leicester changed their manager about this time last year and what happened to them? It’s gonna take a few years for us not to be a 16th/17th side no matter what glimpses we show. |
