Leicester are set to be charged next week by the Premier League for breaching the 105m limit, but no points deduction will happen this season, Championship rivals are obviously fuming. So the Prem are making it up as they go along, why isn’t our possible punishment not next season. Absolute farce this is.

That sounds like a really complicated and I believe relates more to the EFL rules rather than the EPL rules. It appears that Leicester have sucessfully argued that the EFL had no right to impose a business plan on them at the beginning of this season as they were a premier league club at the end of the applicable financial year. The judgement is all very technical and legal. My take away though from reading about this - the one and only Nick DeMarco was their KC who handled the case.

The Athletic article suggested Leicester would only get fine upon promotion which would seem pretty outlandish if us and Everton are punished for the same crime. Surely they need to have the same deduction waiting for them in the same way Everton are being punished for years ago.

Would we be happy to receive a points penalty for the next championship season on the basis that when we were last down there we may have been over the limit? What's the timeframe for these things being forgotten? If we stay up but get relegated in 15 years would the deduction be waiting for us then? The whole thing is simply bizarre. I'm surprised no one club, or group of clubs, has challenged the whole legality of P&S in the courts. Maybe that'll be us.

I'd put money on the fact that if they want to make an example of us the big man will undoubtedly go ballistic on who ever is involved.

I don't think it would end well for us (as in we'd be unlikely to be let off and potentially the punishment would be worse) but it could have a huge benefit for the whole system as we know it, that's clearly not working well enough for any club in the country other than the bigger commercial ones.

Everton really do look toothless and now they're making stupid errors. Good to see

Not watching the game but Everton not dealing with Man Utd in their own box and committing two bad fouls.
If our performances against Man U and Liverpool haven’t convinced people we’ve vastly improved then I don’t know what to say

Luton next 2 games being away gives chance for a double defeat. That will hopefully dampen their spirit. Different team at home of course
