I personally hope the panel will see the bigger picture and understand that in a real world situation we were at a huge sporting disadvantage and that we were only technically beyond the limit between the end of the financial year and the end of the transfer window, ie they'll be sympathetic to our 'mitigations'. What I suspect is that we'll get a straight down the line, rules are rules type judgement, and have to suck up a 6pts hit.

Which surely we'd appeal if it were to happen.

I'm assuming a -6 points deduction is the base line punishment for exceeding limits. If then none of our 'mitigations' are accepted it could remain at -6. 

My fear is that the panel will have sympathy for our situation but nothwithstanding make a purely rules based judgement.

Everton were given 6 points for 3 years we only did 1 .late sale of Brennan but proof we're inside limit this season with sale of scarface and mandala and we also got 3 points while Brennan played felon we get 3 points and Everton get 1 to 3 extra depending on how bad there new figures are

He reckons within his close group that we will get 6 points.

We will get 3 points deducted for a 1 year breach, and Everton will also get another 3 points deducted for a 1 year breach.

They breached twice previously and so got 6 points (3 times 2).

So expect both Forest and Everton to both get 3 points (if they are feeling generous they might offer 2 points to each and "ask" them off the books NOT TO APPEAL).

Reading Athletic article this morning, Within Forest they expect a points deduction but they think it will be 3 pts or less.

Its an interesting point this, although of course complete speculation.

There is a question with a 3 point deduction, if appealed, could it in theory be increased as well as decreased?
If so think we would be well advised to take a small hit, walk away knowing we have 11 games or so to decide our own fate.

Difficult one, I'm not convinced Brennan would've accepted that offer anyway. Does seem like if nothing else, Spurs wasted about 15m when if they'd bid somewhere in the 30-35m range in June they probably could've had him then and it would've avoided this.

How much would we have paid in Nov say as a fine to avoid a points deduction and the uncertainty? 10m maybe?

It could be percentage wise if we lost 72m over 3 years that is already a bigger breach percentage wise than Everton.

On EMT, Natalie Jackson has said we should find out the verdict by the 15th March, A week to appeal takes it to the 22nd March, Appeal Board appointed by 29th March, then appeal hearing done by the 15th April.
