Brentford look much worse than we did on Saturday, so that's one positive.

They're right in the relegation mix tbf

Saying that, they've got Chelsea next, can't rely on them after losing the final

Even though they lost, i thought they were well in the game. But i guess you could say that about some of the games we've lost. Are they going to be this year's established team that gets dragged into the relegation battle out of nowhere?

They have lost 10 in 12. You’d think at some point they’ll go on a run and get a few wins to keep them safe but with Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U in March they may continue to struggle for a while yet. Could get very interesting if we can pick up some results.

Well in the game? They rallied late on but they were awful before that, all over the place.

Agree on Brentford and while Toney’s cheating ability remains undiminished his scoring touch isnt what it was. Not sure they will get quite as much money as they were expecting for him in the summer.

I do wonder if Mr Toney already has his next move lined up and is just going through the motions until the season end. He has made it clear he wants a bigger club and what does it matter to him whether Brentford stay up or not. In fact if they were to go down then arguably any transfer fee would be lower.

And therefore his wages higher! He is bad news me thinks

Agreed. And lets face it he hasn’t been very complimentary re Brentford or seemingly appreciative of them sticking by him. Good luck to whoever buys him I say.

Toney will only have 12 months in his contract come the summer too.
