If you buy 10 players then you can probably say 4/5 of them will work out and the rest are for the bomb squad. If we hadn't bought these players we would've been in the right shite. No, nothing wrong imo. I agree, if we are relegated due to a deduction alone then without doubt we should be able to query with the owner what the hell that happened. I'd expect an interview at the very least where questions are put to the ownership.

Despite the margins, mitigations and overall poor set of rules Marco is right here. if found guilty of a breach this mismanagement has nothing to do with ambition.

Absolutely someone needs to take the blame for whats happening but the history of Marco blaming no one but the owner for everything is well documented. My argument is EM is the owner and but he pays someone else to oversee the incoming and outgoings in money terms and if and thats a very big IF we get points deducted then it should be them who gets the bullet.

Cant be as simple as that in a company with a multi million pound turnover.

Say we do go down how much do you reckon we would make from players like MGW, Murillo, Awoniyi, Danilo.

I would probably say 50/60m for MGW
40/50 for Murillo
30/35 for Danilo
35/40 for Awoniyi
So around 180m

Would that be a fair estimation or would it be too much.
Southampton sold Romeo Lavia for 58m, Leicester sold Maddison and Barnes for about 90m all together.

Again it wasn’t the big man's job to keep an eye on the money side of it. When you're a billionaire you don't have a dog and bark yourself do you. Someone will have to take the blame and will be fired or have been fired for it.
