As long as he keeps popping them into the onion bag, like he did again today, then he can be as much of a liability as he wants

Really do think we'll get some massive bids in for him this summer. Game changers like him are worth fortunes in the prem.

We have a clean sheet at last.

What we need now is to keep as settled formation at the back. Personally I would prefer Aina for Tavares but probably you don’t change a winning team.

Felipe and Murillo is clearly the way to go. Williams well worthy of MoM. Tavares is quick and physical, gets forward well but doesn’t seem to have an ounce of footballing intelligence.

Someone should really tell him to stop shooting.

He's an odd one isn't he. Is capable of getting us up the pitch, is a fantastic athlete.....but avoids heading ball and in a 50 50 header turns his back (giving away freekick). Occasionally puts in a great cross but mostly not! 1v1 he usually gets better of his man.

There's definitely a player in there....but you can't teach football intelligence.

Before the managerial change two of our best players were Nico and Toff albeit playing in a 5. Injury has forced Neco back in and i can't see anything from Taveras that Toff can't do other than speak Portuguese.

If you could merge Tavares and Bong into one player he would be superb.

He is coming on leaps and bounds now.

Is that four goals now and a couple of assists.

He is starting to look like a top player again but he needs to add that bit of consistency. Thought he was immense yesterday.
