I just can't see them doing that. Be nice but be surprised

Be Monday at best after they have played their home game on TV. The premier league will want to avoid any reaction being broadcast.

Interesting reading the Everton's pled for mitigation on over spend
Claiming 14.6 million on interest on the stadium finance that was outside the planning permission.
Claiming the 4% transfer Levy clubs pay on transfer fee's to the footballer pension scheme should be re-directed to the youth development expenditure.
Claiming the outstanding accrued cost for a player who they dismissed should no longer count despite 10 million still to be accounted for over the contract.
Claiming 43.9 million on covid player trading
Claiming Player Y no sale was due to distorted market value.

Everton claim they PSR loss is 87.1 million. But the independent review panel have it at 124.5million.
So 37.4 million difference. However at the first hearing they agreed at 24.5 million was the breach.

Nobody will know until the details of the hearing have taken place.

I'm sure I read somewhere (I might be wrong) that when we submitted our accounts we had 47m loss. However that includes things that don't count for P&S (Academy, Women's team, infrastructure, etc), so we can only guess the amount.

Last years accounts haven’t been made public yet. It’s only the PS&R return that had to be submitted to EPL by 31st Dec
So nobody knows what the accounts ending 31st May 2023 were.

Yeah they initially tried to claim all the above and then basically admitted that it was false, which was a big part of their punishment according to the notes from the panel.

I believe we're appointing a financial/commercial guy that used to be at Leeds. Maybe it will be his job to keep an eye on this sort of thing going forward.
