It was a significant contributing factor so no i won't f*****g let it go !

No it wasn’t.

We conceded 3 soft goals and couldn’t manage a shot on target 2nd half. None of that was the referee’s fault.

We didn’t you’re right but the ref was piss poor, just like our set piece defending

Yes we cut our own throats but if the officials had done their job correctly (for once) then it may well have not come to that . Not that hard to understand really.

Agreed. Same as the rest of the season. Lost 6 of our last 7 home games in the league largely through poor errors. We missed a number of clear cut chances today and they scored all of there's. I don't think there is much more to it.

Was their 2nd goal not offside? No one touch it when it bounced and Botman looked offside. And came back from offside to head it to Schar.

Wouldn't be surprised mate , but apparently things like that and not being awarded penalties etc that the game can hinge on aren't a factor .
Laughable.

I thought this. No replay was shown to back up or otherwise

You can bet your bottom dollar that would have been analyzed to f**k if we'd scored it.

Myself and everyone I was sat with in the Main Stand couldn’t believe it wasn’t given offside. I was surprised nobody mentioned this until now.

Unfortunately i think there’s almost a sense of acceptance that things won’t go our way.

I absolutely agree we are our own worst enemies, but the bad decisions perhaps make the outcome a loss rather than a draw.

We defended like kids at times, notably set pieces.

But it’s 2-2 and that’s a penalty. People get upset about a points penalty that positions won’t be decided ‘on the pitch’. What they mean is by football. But they’re being decided by incompetent / corrupt officiating.

And I’m not saying people are necessarily taking money for decisions, but there’s a systematic bias in them such that the results are corrupted. I’d have broken more than one tv screen tonight if I was EM.

Yep changes the game completely imo, we score the pen, Newcastle push and leave us gaps on the counter. But no Anthony Taylor doesn’t give anything our way again. On to West Ham, big big game.
