I can’t imagine the broadcasters are happy with the current rules.
The popularity of the EPL is partly down to clubs bringing in the best players in the world.

The rules are stopping clubs doing that.

The current rules aren’t fit for purpose

Yeah sky sports news was chugging tonight the only saving Grace for them was that there were prem matches to talk about other wise is whether a talented Swedish 18 year old would choose spurs or Barca for the summer!

Just seen the TV revenue figures for all the Prem clubs for last season (2022/23).

We earned 118.6m for last season.

Sounds obvious but looking at the fixtures this weekend it would be particularly useful to pick up a positive result at Bournemouth

I know The Athletic is not everyone's favourite publication but anyone with any vague interest on FFP should read Matt Slater's (probably their best writer) article about FFP and whether it's the main reason that teams haven't spent (spoiler it's not)

I couldn't do it justice so read it if you're a subscriber, it really puts it in perspective the situation across the league.

Last minute equaliser for Everton vs. Spurs is annoying.
