Most likely. I think it will be discredited as mitigation though.

I think the advantage gained is that we got more money.

We could have sold him to Brentford for 15M less but we wanted to keep the PL happy so we hung on for more money.

Rumours are (and sorry for more bad news), expect a heavy fine / hefty points as we breached more than Everton!

If we plead guilty (or play the game and not be provocative etc, can hope it leads to a lesser punishment. If we go down the Everton route , then could be hit hard!

Oh in light of the P&S rules are supposed to do around sustainability this is a valid mitigation in our view without a shadow of a doubt. We did the best thing for Nottingham Forest Football Club. I'm fully behind the ownership on this. We shouldn't be punished for it but the likelihood is we will be.

My thoughts we around bringing the level of punishment down to say 3 points deduction.

That's good news if it's a heavy fine rather than points.

I presume you mean breached more than Everton for the accounting period in question. I can't imagine we'd have breached more than they did in total.

If that's the case it kinda makes sense, given that we had smaller allowable losses due to being promoted.

Any fine would be out of FFP calculations for this season. No amortisation for a fine!

We have got Nick Di Marco who is described as the Lionel Messi of his field. He very rarely loses cases.

I can’t see Everton breaching by much over the 105m, so it was obvious that we would have lost a lot more over 61m probably looking at 70/80m so 10/15m over

He lost one at Heathrow recently.

Let's hope that's one of his rare losses Sniff. He wouldn't take us on if he didn't feel he could win with his record.
