Just to caveat before the trickle of Murillo criticism becomes an unnecessary flood, we must remember that the lad only played a dozen or so games in Brazil before moving to the hardest league in the world- a league in which he’s now only played 12 or so games and a country where he can’t speak the language.

Inexperience will count for a lot in those mistakes- I don’t think the issue is a permanent one so let’s not go overboard. Be thankful we have a fantastic footballer. The cream will always rise to the top.

Ultimately DCM LB or sweeper are his likely roles (but we would prob have to switch to a back 3 again for the latter) and in time he will be a fantastic asset. Let’s not forget that.

PS good shout on the weight comment. I remember Wes was always lumbersome at Forest but after moving to Lestah suddenly appeared super trim and a different player. I think addressing his puppy fat might be a good plan in the summer; in the short term, I hope Nino comes in and can help him and refs don’t send off our biggest CB every game.

Yep. Don't like to pick out individuals, the lad is a kid and should be learning his trade in The Championship for 6 months. Not his fault he's been chucked in the deep end and is drowning. 

As for fitness, no way in this day and age he would be selected if overweight. We have about 5 million Sports Science experts watching their every move.

If we survive we need to spend big on the all round package, because the CB’s we have all have specific strengths but none are the all round package.

Speed, aerial ability and can play.

Last few games Murillo has been either holding his leg (hamstring?) Or has been subbed off. Could it be that he's not 100% and that's why he's not jumping high enough.

We didn't deserve to loose that. The passion, desire and commitment were all there. Niakate didn't try to challenge for that ball that came in for Solanke, who had a free header at the penalty spot. Nothing Turner could have done about it. Two defensive mistakes cost us. Attacking subs made by Nuno who, like many of us, will feel hard done by. Anyway, a full week of training ahead and 11 players playing like that next week have nothing to fear.

Who are we beating? Who can we drag down ? Already a gap between us and above. 
We will be bottom 3 by New Year, all the bottom 3 getting results. 
Absolutely guarantee we will be relegated, we are such a poor side at getting results. Reckon it’s 50/50 we finish rock bottom.

Not at all, I freely admit never saw us beating both Man Utd and Newcastle, happy to be proven wrong.
 
Results all went for us this week as well. 

Still think Luton will stay up. 

Glad we go into the break not in the bottom 3, think that’s important psychologically.
