This is a good and interesting thread and we need to keep it going.

A few comments post match from the Palace fans:

It comes to something when everyone seems pleased with a point at home to Nottingham Forest.

With two useless so called strikers and a depleted team what more could you ask for I think they did bloody well to get that point.

CHO wasn't exactly ripping it up for Forest and people on here said we should sign him. I think Elanga looked good when he came on shame we didn't go for him.

We've failed to win our last SEVEN home league games against Nottingham Forest.

In the circumstances a point is a creditable result and to my mind a draw reflected the game.

How bad are Forest to not be able to beat a Palace 2nd 11.

Now that was a well earned and unexpected point. With all the absentees from our squad the team worked incredibly hard. Forest on the other hand must be annoyed that they missed a golden opportunity against a very weakened team.

Forest had the edge over us. They had better chances of scoring than us. We could have lost if not for GK Sam.

Forest were piss poor but we should be grateful for a point.

If Wood scores I will walk into the icy sea.

Forest fans singing “Maggie Thatcher she starved all your kids”.

Can see forest nicking this in second half.

We'll lose this. Getting smashed on the break.

Burns lack of pace against Elanga is our problem.

The concerning thing for me is that Forest should have probably scored 2 or 3. While we only carved out a penalty.

Reading on here anyone would think we're 2007 Derby, we've not been terrible, we've controlled the game, forest are dangerous on the counter, we need to be wiser to that and we need to be more clinical up front as we've had the chances.

Getting absolutely rinsed every time on the break.

I didn’t hear that either mate tbh. 

It was, rather surprisingly, pretty tame inside and outside the ground from my experience. 

Their home atmosphere was pretty shambolic, not quite as bad as West Ham but apart from the Blaydon Races bit they were quite tepid.
