I wonder if he's had anything to say about the stonewall penalty that VAR just glossed over.

It wont stop Boly being banned for today's game though, as 2 yellow cards aren't reversible and cannot be appealed against, which is wrong IMO.

On the subject of the handball decision, can anybody shed any light on why we weren't given at least a free kick for handball?

VAR said they couldn't award a penalty because they could not determine if the ball was handled in the box or not, which says to me that they accept the ball had been handled. So why not go to the safe option of awarding a free kick just outside of the box? It's all just mental

That is the bit that grinds my gears. I thought that it didn't matter where your arms and hands are but what matters is where your feet are? Well his feet are clearly inside the box. It's a penalty and we were cheated again.

We've seen it time after time players being called offside because their arms and not their feet are ahead of the last defender when the ball was played and thats the bit which annoys the living s**t out of me because it can't be one rule for one and not the other.

If I was the suspicious type I would say that the Refs in general don't want us in the Premier league and will do anything possible to try and make it as hard as possible for us to stay up.

I read somewhere recently can’t remember where but the uk is short of a few 1000 refs.
But yesterday VAR itself was at fault, I mean how can it not tell if it’s in the box or not, it’s literally its job.

As for the sending off, seeing it in real time again and trying to take emotion out of it , I can sort of see why he gave it ( tin hat on)

Give over mate. You can't be defending that surely?

Was you at the game? I was in Upper Bridgford and everyone around me could see it was a perfect challenge. No mate. Not having that at all.

He is a cheating c**t. For 45 mins he was giving us absolutely nothing. It was embarrassing.
No I wasn’t there and if you say it was that obvious then I will take your word for it and in fairness the response on social media when it happened seemed to suggest my opinion is wrong.
It’s just on the video I saw it didn’t seem that clear cut that it was bad decision, it seem like he caught him.
But again I wasn’t there.

I'm just angry mate this morning. Not having a go. It was clear as day. I was in total shock.

As for the hand ball. I was right next to that and momentarily that ball hit is hand inside the box. It happened that fast. But this why VAR is here. To make the right call.. and they didn't.

It was one bad decision after the other and it didn't get much better in the second half.

He didn't want to give us anything. I'd go as far to say the smug t**t was enjoying it all.

Just seen it from the other angle this morning (behind Boly) came up on my x feed. Yeah that’s a shocking decision even in real time.
My bad.

Fair play to the referee today for allowing the advantage for our first goal, most would have blown for a free kick

He reffed well but the pen was soft

It was still a penalty, regardless of how soft.

Some of the tackles in this Everton game going unpunished are just taking the piss.

Rob Jones is officiating the Palace game Sat so that's a two fingers up to us then.

Yup. There was one where Keane just wiped Alvarez out. No booking.

I think Nuno made a great point yesterday.

He said ''what leads up to every goal needs to be checked''

Once again VAR failed to intervene when Toney not only moved the ball (twice) but he also moved the referees spray.

A blatant act of cheating but VAR fail to get involved. What are they actually there for?
