Stevie Cooper
Irrespective of pots won elsewhere and the impressive 2 seasons with Wolves this is very much like for like in terms of defensive style.

The test will be can NES bring clean sheets, which is what Cooper has failed to do despite reverting to the defensive setup. Clean sheets give you chances in games as United nearly showed against Liverpool at the weekend.

If Nuno takes us down I will walk across Trent Bridge wearing nothing but a pair of Derby County undercrackers at the first home game back in the Championship.

IMO Forest have to play defensive, counter attacking football, they are a long way from transitioning to a possession based team.
If Cooper is not able to deliver mid-table security with this tactic, then it's next man up.

As plenty have said on here, we recruited for one system, abandoned it vs apparent 'lesser teams' and its almost like the Villa win made us think we were better than we were.

Derby have problems selling their shirts so what makes you think you will be able to get a pair of their underpants....I will go as far as saying neither scenario are going to happen...

I find our fans delusion with what we are seeing on the pitch quite incredible and can tell a lot of our fans just follow with there heart and never played football to a decent level.

I love Cooper and always will but the coaching this season, when expected to push on past backs to the wall football has been so glaringly not there its painful.

EM has kept him too long as our patterns in play and pass and move and just method in general is just none existent.

Wish him all the best and am so grateful for the joy he has given me but if people are going to be f*****g toxic towards the new manager because they support with there heart then its going to split the club we ALL love and what we ALL support.

Remember we are ALL FOREST.
