Yes perhaps in the future if we want to upgrade players but not now and especially not for FFP reasons.

We don't have to sell to avoid a penalty

However, if we would like to buy any new players we'd need to sell to be able to continue to meet FFP. Pretty reasonable really, can't just continue to buy players without getting rid of some too.

Absolutely because football is more of a business nowadays rather than a game which is a shame. Unfortunately some of the big teams think these same rules don't apply to them and you just have to look at Man City I know there's 100 odd charges against them but it does seem the people in power are dragging their feet about charging them but then you look at Everton (believe me I'm not standing up for them) 1 or 2 charges and straight away 10 point deduction.

There simply to much double standards going on.

We have signed 42 players over 3 transfer windows.

Even with a £300m guaranteed windfall, there isn’t going to be much left over signing that many when you add in wages, agent fees etc.

How much quality we have added over those 42 players is another debate. As for money coming back in transfer fees, we have sold homegrown Johnson for £47m and Surridge for a modest profit. Thats it.

I reckon we could get £100m for Taiwo, Murillo, Elanga, Yates and Worrall.

Yes selling your best players is a recipe for success.

Considering his game time.......MINUTES played........against goals scored....is he the best player ?

I would consider how many times he has lost the ball which then led to the opposition scoring as probably the highest in the PL..........consider that.

I wasn’t advocating it!!

More a case of where the outlay can be recouped.

Well we have just raked in 5M for Scarpa for a start.

He's gone.

What makes you so certain that we are in danger of breaching the P&S criteria?

Do you have any calculations to back up this theory?

I'd of thought another 5m for Worrall in Jan too. Will be interesting to see if Santos, Montiel and Tavares get anywhere near the team under Nuno

Well Barcelona are reportedly preparing a bid for Santos.

Just saying, I won't say any more.
