I think this is part of our problem. Cooper aside, we really don’t have experienced or good coaches and I’d even argue quite an amateur set up at this level. No wonder if true that some players have lost faith if they are used to much better standards, coaching, tactics etc. Where we are currently is not all Cooper’s fault but feel a change and a much more experienced coach like JL and the support staff he will bring in is a must

I'm hoping that the big man will swing the axe quickly on Cooper and get someone in asap, we cannot continue with Cooper and his back room staff, the sooner this is done the better for everyone concerned.

Yep, get it over and done with. The fan mourning can commence and the players can focus on the future. This no mans land situation is helping no one.

With me yes sniff - head v heart. Just think we have a bloke in charge who isnt in it for himself and comes from a long line of chopping and changing. What I will say though this time is that he has been given enough time and space from the owners. If there is a candidate committed to the club and really wants the job then now is the time- as much as it hurts to say. I’d prefer we beat Bournemouth Newcastle and Man U with cooper but that is not going to happen

No one will be in mourning. There’s nothing wrong with feeling sad that the man who has galvanised our club, lead us to the Premiership and gave us our pride back is now facing having to leave the club he’s obviously grown an attachment to.
I understand we need to reset, the club must come first and it’s not working, I don’t think Cooper can turn it around regretfully.
However some of the comments on here have been downright disrespectful, people have very short memories.
I do think EM needs to act swiftly however, this limbo we seem to be in is good for no one. The longer it drags on the greater the fan divide. All credit to him for standing by SC for as long as he has.

He’s the one who makes the key decisions.
I can’t for one minute think EM would risk his investment on sentiment of fans

Depends, maybe EM’s desire for a top coach isn’t achievable? Let’s say for the sake of argument Mourinho was available last season and said yes after Leicester beat us 4 nil. Do you think Steve would’ve still been our manager.
I often think Steve has survived because the kind of coaches EM wants don’t want the job.
That said I’m also sure EM will take no delight in sacking Steve.

No absolutely not. Its well documented Miltos has had a hand in keeping him in post by taking a temperature check of both the dressing room and wider opinion, feeding back to EM. Thats how it should work too.
Thats up until now at least and the position is becoming untenable in the eyes of most and a firm decision needs to be made immediately. Personally thought he was done after Fulham.
