I thought he would be gone by now. If Oliver and Julien had been in talks for a while then you think something would be sorted.

I don't believe they don't want to come but they have reservations one of which is some of our fans support for Steve. It's dragging things on and the timing of it all is important for EM and a new manager. There is no room for error with PL survival at Stake. It's a unique situation where we have a manager with 3 wins in 17 games having the backing of a majority of fans.

You and sniffer are saying cooper has to take some of the blame for the signings. So does EM.

The fact EM has done it before with previous managers - them often complaining of interference speaks volumes and highlights what a great job cooper has done.

Why does it have to be so one sided? Why can’t we question the owner on here?!

Sniff has already said the EM and the recruitment should shoulder some of the blame, he's accepted that but he also said that Cooper has had players he wanted too. Which we can all agree that he has.

No he didn't and nobody is saying that but Steve does have to take some of the responsibility and you need to admit that.

There has been a lot of money spent and most if not all the big money signings are on Steve in my view.

35M on Steves 'number 6' who he desperately wanted Sangare.
17M on Williams.
15M on Wood.

I could go on but that is almost 120M right there on just 4 signings. Then people wonder why we have to scratch around bringing last minute loans in, well it's because the budget has been spent.

Another thing is if Steve didn't insist on his number 6 (Sangare 35M) then we could have kept Johnson.

Now don't get me wrong I am not blaming Steve for everything because it's a shared responsibility but one or two need to take their blinkers off is all I am saying.

We got £45m for him up front pure profit. Sangare is amortised at about £7m per year. The rest of the £45m went to balancing the books for the whole programme.

The whole recruitment team identified the need for a stronger central midfield, arguably the one decision that was correct but whether in hindsight we got the wrong man Im not yet sure.

Cooper has got some right (MGW) some wrong (Wood Shelvey. The wider recruitment team has got some right (Mangala, Murillo) some wrong (Dennis Freuler Montiel Origi) 
Dont play the my boys got more right than your boys game its pointless and tiresome.

Total outlay of around £65m total (mostly amortised) plus at a guess another £20m or so in annual wages.

We couldn’t have done any of that without the sale of Johnson. Whether any of those 7 have significantly contributed to date is another debate.

Not denying the ownership haven’t shown ambition and reinvested but our option was to Keep Johnson and have the summer signing as freebies and loans or sell him and go all out to strengthen the squad overall. On top of which Im pretty certain Johnsons mind was made up to go.

That we chose the second option I think most of us agreed with. Whether the correct personnel were brought in is a different matter.

Coopers 11 will get him the sack Fri, them players he picked sat will get turned over. Regardless of the fight.

Cheick coming out and asking the players to fight is a cringe call. You would think he is out of contract in the summer or something, show the fight hopefully get a reward

Rather we just sacked him now instead of all this media build up for coops to be sacked at the weekend..
