Nottingham Forest - Aston Villa
Ye olde low block!! The winning formula.

Also glad we have players having a pop from outside the box.

Really good all round performance.

Odysseas - 7.5 didn't really have anything out of the ordinary to do, but did everything comfortably.

Aina - 8 another very good performance.

Niakhate - 9 MOTM absolutely solid.

Murillo - 8.5 Solid as well!

Toffolo - 8 defended Well and pops up with 2 assists! Hope the injury isn't too bad, it's his shirt atm.

Mangala - 8 Just looks so good this season.

Sangare - 7.5 made a few sloppy mistakes first half bit does some ridiculously good things. Always nicking the ball at the right time as well.

Dominguez - 7.5 would have been more but he missed a couple of very good chances. All over the place!

MGW - 7 very quiet game for Morgan, but always works hard for the team.

Awoniyi- 7.5 we miss him when he isn't playing, absolute nightmare to play against I imagine.

Elanga - 7.5 very good moments and causes problems, could improve decision making but I think he is a bargain at 15m.

Subs

They all came on and played well. Special mention to Williams who shut Bailey down everytime he got the ball.

Cooper - 10. You f*****g reds!

Some good write ups there lads. Only thing I'd say is i think a little harsh on sangare (I know you're not really criticising) - I thought he was excellent to be honest.

Agree massively on special mention to Neco!

Perhaps the Luton game needed to happen.....a bit like Leicester last year. It was very notable that all the subs came on with the bit between their teeth!

Before the two games I imagine most fans would've taken four points from Luton and Villa at home.

It’s mad, before the respective games you ask me where the wins and draws come from Chelsea Burnley Luton and Villa and you told me the opposite is called ya mad

No excuses with injuries etc.

Lets hope we commit players forward when we can, take the game to them and have a real good go.

We are at home, against a team with poorish away form and we have a strong side out.

Lets get the job done.

Bingo well done lads.

Now West Ham and once again nothing to be afraid of, it's another team like Villa we should be looking to take points off.

Interestingly, one of the commentators said that Martinez, recently voted the world's best goalkeeper, was beaten from outside of the box twice yesterday—only the second time in his career.

How the hell has Martinez become the 'worlds best keeper' . He's not even the best keeper in the premier league.

Question, doesn't anyone publish the post match press room interviews anymore? They sometimes showed up on the match threads but haven't seen one for a while

Preparing for the new Messiah to replace the old. We beat Villa and are looking at the Champions League. Fickle fans!

Weird, but at 1130 ish watched some bloke get pulled out of the Trent by a copper on the Opp bank to Trent End. I think a cyclist spotted him and with the Police getting ready for the game there were lots about, bloody lucky.

Last week I saw a load of S**t Greek team players (that is what some like to call them) play West Ham.

Instead of bigging West Ham up the little S**t Greek team instead bigged themselves up and they went out onto the field and destroyed them. No doubt you and some others will be telling us how great West Ham are when we go there next week.

So glad you are not our manager Wassy because you would have us beaten before we get out of the changing room every week.

Totally correct, well said Sniff.
