He got stamped on the ankle, not on the foot.
He’s training today so prob just bruising.
He certainly wouldn’t be training with a broken metatarsal

May well have had a scan earlier in the week.
But the fact he is training shows nothing serious and as long as he gets through training then should be fine.

He's been a huge miss, offers something completely different, be good to see him back in the squad on Sunday. Hope he can settle down and recover last seasons form at the back end of the season.

It will be a good watch tomorrow. Entertaining game which will also generate a better atmosphere which will boost the lads.

Regardless of the result I want to see a performance today that matches Villa, pressing as a team, aggression and energy, Pass to our own team mates rather than giving the ball away. Do all that and we have a chance even with current injuries.
Whatever the quality of the opponent I don’t want to see a tame surrender like last week.

Yes the CG crowd need to match that effort too, not something we have done so far.
