Football conversation for fans is all about opinion. Very rarely is it based on actual fact.
Just because you do not buy in to another persons opinion, this does not make them wrong. It doesn't make them right either! It is an individuals thought process only and nothing else. It doesn't make you right or wrong either!
For what its worth, I am HOPING we beat Villa on Sunday, but realistically, I am EXPECTING us to get beat. Thats my opinion. It is neither right or wrong. It is just what I am thinking/feeling about this match.
Why am I expecting us to get beat? Villa are on a good run of form at present. They play a very exciting attacking style of play and are not afraid to run directly through midfield. We have proven we cannot deal with direct play. We may have Awoniyi back, but will he start? Will he last 60 minutes? Whatever, happens, without Awoniyi, we do not have any strikers available. We are still bedding in new players into the side. Yes we are on match 11, but that doesnt mean the squad should now be gelled and working like a well oiled machine. Some of our players are only on match 3 or 4 or 5, they are still trying to come to terms with the best league in the world, in a foreign country and maybe not yet grasping the English language. That is what I think anyway. That is my opinion and I dont give a flying fart if others dont agree with it, that is their choice and entitlement! It makes no odds to me.
But can we please cut out the constant bickering and sniping? It is getting tiresome now
Nailed it. Great post

You call it bickering and sniping Tricky but I call it debate.
I have the greatest respect for Salvatore and Wassy.
They have their opinions and I have mine and we simply debate that in an adult manner with no swearing or name calling etc.
What is wrong with that?

I think Tricky and MR have a valid point Sniff.
The debate on the Injuries thread is getting a bit ridiculous and its not even in the right thread! I don’t want to put people off reading this forum by getting to the stage of name calling. Lets leave it for a bit.
Right, team for Sunday

Boly Murillo Niakhate
Aurier Sangare Mangala Dominguez Aina

No its not an attacking line up but it saves Elanga on the bench for later in the game. Taiwo gives us 60 mins maximum.

There is nothing wrong with debate Sniff. That's what Forums are for.
But can you justify the "you said this" and " he said that", misquoting and arguing points that do not come across as debate. To those of us not a part of the 'debate' I am sure it comes across as bickering and sniping. Well it does to me anyway.
But that's just my opinion!

Cooper said after the Liverpool game he wanted to stick with 433 except Wood was injured. So presuming Taiwo is fit enough to start it'll be 433. I suppose the risk is who is going to go up front when Taiwo has to come off? Hopefully we're 2-0 up by then and Cooper can make some of his trademark subs.

So the game could finish 2-2 or 2-3?

I can’t remember other than Luton where cooper messed up with subs. I can remember other games where they were effective and closed the game out or even had us gaining points or running teams close. Anyway- hearing MGW could be out for a few weeks!
