You are correct Sniffer and I want to believe it too.
Yet out of those 160 odd games I have just done a quick count of how many he actually was in the starting 11. Not easy to find the info but I believe he only started in 31 of those games. Many others he was an unused sub. The stats were about the same for Liverpool Milan and Belgium.
Thats is a strangely low figure. Its odd that a talented professional would be content in starting fewer than 1 in 5 games for his team

Agree SM that something doesn't quiet add up.
It's also interesting that Origi was at Liverpool the same time as Awoniyi so they obviously know each other very well and Origi was seen as the better player at the time hence his appearances.

If you want me to spell it out, my suspicion with Origi is that the talent is there but the motivation isn’t.
Just my hunch.

Maybe, strangely, thats not a bad thing. It might not be a lack of motivation, it might just be that hes resolved to the fact that he's an impact sub, and hes content with that and as such he's good to have around.

That wasn't the case, Big T had work permit issues hence repeatedly going on loan. Nothing to do with ability he just wasn't allowed to play for them at the time.

Nah, that’s a fallacy, people want him to be good so only see the very minor positives

Aren’t you advocating for Sangare and Turner to be dropped.
It’s a brutal game.
Decisions have to be made quickly and jobs are constantly on the line.
Time is not a quality many are afforded (see the Steve Cooper thread)

Not related to current players, but Henri Lansbury was on Sky Sports News this morning say that he overcame testicular cancer while he was at Forest.
That was kept very quiet - can't ever recall reading anything about it.
