I thought we were a bit overstaffed once The other Reid came back in. Don't think there will be too much in it other than doing what is best for his family.

Besides: If a manager is sacked and coaching staff are too, they get paid off in a similar way. If he knew anything, he'd be hanging on.

Otherwise it'd be like asking to be taken out of a lottery syndicate because you know the winning ticket is imminent!

I know it was mentioned in another thread about having had no Forza display, they just tweeted an hour ago ‘city ground, let’s go’

It’s also the clubs remembrance match with poppy shirts etc so the display might have something to do with that? Maybe reusing own from the past?

Forza said flags and scarves but no display. It is remembrance day match you are correct.

It will also be a minutes silence for 5th consecutive time, every home game this season. Anyone else getting a bit bored of it all?
For me Remembrance Sunday should be the only reason we do a minute’s silence except in exceptional circumstances. The fact we seem to do so because one of the cast of Friends has died or whatever diminishes the occasions when it really means something.

Quick edit, first home game it was a minutes applause for Sir Trevor and CBW, I think you still get what I mean though or am I being unfair?

I presume tomorrow's silence is for the Panthers player Adam Johnson? Which, if so, seems fair enough given he played for one of the city's sports teams.

We had this discussion in the boozer before the Luton game. Conclusion - Nottingham and/or Forest related is fine and also the visiting team as a sign of respect for similar circumstances ect.

Why a football club needs to acknowledge every world event is beyond me.

For me it is no different to taking the knee. It is a sign of unity in times of sadness, despair or remembrance. it is a symbol of togetherness as a team and club and its fanbase and as a community within our city

Yes that’s fair, I don’t want to sound mean.

My point I guess is the world is indeed a shitty place and I go to football one afternoon a week to forget about it.
