I see that Luton have signed Andros Townsend on a short term contract initially.
Decent player and still only 32.

Our run of "winnable" home games is proving as much as an albatross as our ridiculously tough run of away fixtures. In truth our home support has been p1$$ poor compared to last seasons backing no matter how up against it we were in our quest to stay up (after Fulham/Brentford games that is) and our points total is a bit short of what we'd hope at home, but is no more than we deserve.
Make no mistake Luton fans will be loud and backing their lads, we need to start doing the same. We know the players respond. No easy games, but Luton are not a good side and they know it, so they fight for every ball and work like every game is a cup match. If we are not on it then we will get done. I'd probably start Yates especially if there's any slight fitness issues with our midfield. Not a game for a 90 or 95% fit midfielder should we have one. The old cliche of earning the right to play is very relevant for this one.

Like it or not, Luton will be seeing this game as winnable and will up their game in order to do so.
Forest have a nasty habit of not turning up to these kind of matches, so unless Luton really are piss poor, we cant be expecting a walkover (i know, I've predicted 3-0 in the predictions league, but I'm buggered if I know why!!!

Coopers pre match insinuating the game may be too early for Montiel and Aurier and those injured that didn’t feature at palace, are still injured soooooo.
Neco? As far as I’m aware has only played LWB for club and country this season, but we did buy him as a right sided defender, he got 90mins against sheff Utd so might be okay against Luton so the teams could be comparable? We did use Elanga and Hudson-odoi as attacking full backs for 15 mins against 10 man Man City I don’t know whether he would trust Elanga there for the full 90. If it is neco I guess we stay with a back four and make sure the midfield are protective?

I didnt see anything about Aina from Cooper? Hopefully Aina RB and Niakhate LB maybe? (Or Tavares if he's fit)

(Or Tavares if he's fit) We kept a clean sheet last time out so i'd rather keep Toff for stability and crosses into the box if we have to change elsewhere. Stability is a good thing

Toffolo hasnt put a foot wrong since hes been back in the side, surely he gets the nod in his favoured position?

Wonder what the chances of a postponement are for tomorrow? Heavy rain all day today it seems and more rain tomorrow.

The heavy rain is due to stop some time later this evening Pap with only the odd shower tomorrow. At least this will be a good test for the new pitch and drainage
