It really is incredible and sometimes I need to pinch myself.
A squad packed with 400M of talent.
Just a few years ago we couldn't even pay the pizza bill at Brighton or get a safety certificate for our ground.
Incredible how far we have come in the last few years.
What a journey we are on and we are not done yet...

There isnt really an appropriate thread to put this on but its a statement from the owner of Sheffield Wednesday. I wouldn’t bother reading it all, you will lose the will to live.
However it did make me think, we have an owner who in my opinion isn’t perfect, despite all the investment he makes a few mistakes and maybe a bit headstrong. EM has been making efforts with a bit of PR and I hope new chairman Tom ( Marinakis Red) will give us more regular updates than previously.
But good grief isn’t it all better than having a narcissist like Chansari who wants to wash his dirty laundry in public and takes no responsibility for any mistakes.

Still think Fawaz had his heart in the right place, he was just utterly incompetent.
Far more dangerous having an owner like Chansari or the Glaziers who are in it completely for themselves and think the world revolves around them oblivious to the unfolding chaos. I don’t like the sound of the new lot at Everton either.

Blimey!!!
Whether true or not, that is some character assassination!!
That's like letting slip you have been shagging the owners wife and she comes back and gives a puff and pant, caress and grope, quality v quantity account of all of the leg overs they had!!!

A fantastic day for our club, freeing itself of his stubborn negativity. And thanks to the club for so many happy memories over the last 2 years.
It was obvious to some from very early on that Hughton was a terrible appointment, and that we were massively underperforming under him. What is remarkable is how much support he had, even a season in to the job of abject failure. I suppose we can look at that in a positive light, given fans wanting to believe the best about the coach. Though contrast that with some on here wanting to get rid of Cooper when we had a sticky patch last season. Funny looking back, to see someone so adamant that the players were rubbish and Hughton was doing the best he could be expected to after a year in the role, and that same person wanting Cooper sacked last season. Opinions, eh?
It has been a fantastic 2 years, getting promoted and staying up despite huge injury problems. I guess that has contributed to the positive atmosphere, because we beat most people’s expectations then experienced the Premier League so that was all new. I really hope the positive atmosphere can continue even when some of the novelty wears off, and expectations rise.

This is the longest interview I've read for "he wanted more money, I didn't agree". Not sure it's going to have the effect he thinks it will. Pretty sure Wednesday fans have had it out for him for years, due to stuff like this.

An interesting interview with CHO in the telegraph very complimentary of forest and cooper
Cooper’s influence was a major factor. A coach with a proven record of improving young players, such as Morgan Gibbs-White, Marc Guehi and Conor Gallagher, he could be the manager to unlock Hudson-Odoi’s rich potential again.
Hudson-Odoi also played every game in England Under-17s’ win at the World Cup under Cooper in 2017.
“There were a lot of different places I could have ended up at, but once ‘Coops’ made the call my head was straight here,” he says. “He definitely brought the best out of me with England. The big thing about him is how he understands players, on and off the pitch.
“He’s always making sure that you’re mentally right and comfortable, and free in what you do.”
The message from Cooper is always the same: “Don’t be boring! He’s been saying it to me for as long as I can remember. ‘Take risks, don’t let anything hold you back and be yourself. Create problems every time you’re on the ball.’
“You want to have that freedom to do your stuff, whether it’s scoring or creating goals for the team. That’s what I want, to excite the crowd.”

For some reason the Take That logo is lit up on the side of the City Ground tonight. Possible concert next year?
