Pretty successful first day for the new Chairman!

The bloody outcry on Twitter about who the sponsor is. Some people must live a miserable life.

Kaiyun Sports, “Asian digital sports platform” In other words a gambling site.
Not too fussed and if we held out for a good deal then well done. But all that stuff about FFP leverage and preferring a charity partner was nonsense wasn’t it?

Whilst disappointing its a gambling firm it could open up other opportunities for revenue from Asia. Could this also be funding the new arrivals meaning possibility of Johnson staying?

So what if its a gambling company. Last time I looked gambling is still legal and all adults are free to do what they want with their money. Personally I don't gamble and have no interest in it so seeing it advertised on the front of a shirt it isn't going to change my mind. Just hope we got a good payment on it

There is a bookies on every high street for Gods sake. Also how Sky Sports and BT sports etc are full of betting adverts, how many people subscribe to those?

I thought gambling companies weren't allowed to be sponsors after this season?

There is also a touch of hypocrisy from Forest about preferring to work with charities when they were really holding out for a higher offer from a sponsor.
