Aye a partner I guess? Hoardings surrounding the pitch, press conferences and pre and post match interviews. All telly based as we’re probably shown a lot more abroad (well I know I’ve watched us on American/African/Middle Eastern/Chinese telly)

Has anyone attempted to work out the FFP situation after the end of the window?

If so, could someone post their thoughts here - as it’s beyond my current brain capacity !

Shirt sponsor + pure profit on Brennan > amortisation of new signings but how close are we?

Not slagging off what we have done or meant to be seen as negative in any way - just curious

Right on the edge I'd imagine. The big man's gone all out for us.

Think we are well within - we will lose a season of championship losses and gain a prem one. We have players leaving and fees (apart from sanagre) were relatively modest. Wages may ge an issue but also see value in those. Dennis is the only one where we could be losing a significant sum for but wouldn’t be surprised if he goes to Saudi for a decent whack. Think serge and Kouyate will go too.

Why would they pay over the odds for a player not it the squad?

Last year we started our prem signing amortisation (though I’m not sure if there’s pre 22/23 monies in there)

We spent 40m on transfers in for year 1 of their contracts, we made sales of 4.25m, probably had 10m took off that seasons ffp Cus of the charity shirt sponsor. My total doesn’t take into account loan fees though.

This year with new signings and the 2nd year of prem players amortisation we’ve spent 70m but have sales of 55m, with nearly all of that pure profit, we have the 10m shirt sponsor too.
