If a new manager wins games and gets closer to promotion then fans will be happy. It's a gamble for owners and puts more pressure on new manager.

Hopefully this Karanka out story will disappear as quick as it appeared.

I think they'll probably wait for the fanbase to turn on Aitor.  When you lose the fans after a 'thrashing' after a poor series of results, that's usually when a trigger gets pulled.

That didn't happen here.

Forest DID beat Ipswich.  Forest have played the whole of the top six and humbled all of them.

Norwich were beaten for 80 mins.  IF Aitor had put Os' on (see Leeds...) then Norwich would have been cooked.
Leeds.  Beaten at their place if not for a handball.  (Almost did the double over them.)  Beaten them at the City Ground...smashed them 4:2.
WBA.  Out played them.
Derby.  Could have beaten them.  And that was at Pride Park.
Sheff Utd.  Beaten.
Boro'.  Masterclass.  Well beaten.

Colour me unimpressed with the top 2 or top 6.  They've 'just' been more consistent, had less draws.

Forest are an 'almost' team in so many ways (except when it comes to the top 6 where I think they are teh best team in the top 6 NOT in the top 6.) where they've had so many results with a draw that ALMOST had 3 points with a 'last minute' slip to cost points.

Even during this 'bad run' so called?  They lost a 3-0 lead to Norwich.  Aitor has to own up to not putting Os' on.  But a draw away to the leaders or 2nd is hardly a disaster.

Losing 1-0 to Millwall, Preston and QPR.  Frustrating.  Because of the narrowness of the result to really mediocre teams.  Forest did it to themselves.

I think using Murphy helps give teams something to think about at this level.  That combo' of Murphy, Os', Cash etc has a good dynamic about it.  Os' and Car' on the same pitch proves it doesn't have to be Lolley or nothing.

I'd rather Os' have a crack at the ACM role if Car' is blowing hot and cold in a game.  Forest play better, in general, when Os' is on the pitch.  As proven by the immediate impact vs Leeds.

7th.  After the a 'bad run' which mirrored the 'Colback and Watson' 'bad run' earlier in the season before that intentional break.

Much to come...from this team.  One transformative Jan' transfer window from an all out assault on the top 6.

Honestly don't see how that's an upgrade at all.

Karanka can apparently get a bit moody but I recall reading stories about Jokanovic trying to oust his Director of Football at Fulham.

Would prefer Karanka to stay obviously. Of all the managers mentioned Jokanovic would be my choice. Not Rowett please, think I would boycott the club if that happened which I’m sure it won’t.

Would obviously love to see Billy back at the club simply to have someone who actually delivers the top 6, as opposed to hypes it up then fails to like EVERY other manager since
