Arsenal - Nottingham Forest

I will be happy if it ends 2-0
We were ok till the first goal and looked solid.
I would like to say that there wasn't a poor individual performance but we had so little possession that you couldn't tell! I don't think we managed 10% or so?

He's still a young lad, just coming off the back of his first season at the top level, when he scored a decent amount of goals, which without we would have been relegated. Yes, we went on a good run when he got benched but it's not his fault Cooper has told everyone to hoof it to him. I'm sure he'd rather be playing a more skilful role rather than given a pretty thankless task of running after shite hoofs from our not very cultured cbs.... I hope he learns and improves the other parts of his game, hopefully with us.

Sorry but it's a straight forward chance

He definitely should have scored. I'm talking about everyone waffling on about how we are so much better when he's not in the team.

That's why you make a plan b, and use plan b till you have everything for plan a,

Said it before and got shot down, coops won't be here in 10 games. Ether walked or sacked,

He's taught them nothing new all summer. Pre season proved that, just planning his way to a big pay out

I just can't see how this formation helps MGW who was bought in to be our talisman as a 10.

Were playing a winger as a 9, danilo and Yates keep swapping to go on the right when there both deep lying CMS, mgw a 10 but nowjere near there. Very hughtonesque

Ok then, from our current squad please choose a team and formation that wouldn’t lose to this Arsenal team, Im really interested to know.

When we beat them in May we were facing a demoralised side but they still had 85% possession. We did what we needed to do which was hit on the break, defend for our lives and feed off the emotion of the occasion. I doubt any other tactic would have worked.
Different circumstances today and its showing.

That's what no preseason gets you, couldn't even get it on target.
Johnson isn't a CF either, has to play wider.

As a Forest supporter I just want us to show some forward play. SC plays a system that is just to rigid and the players just can not express themselves, so much for the way we were going to play this season, please start to at least entertain us fans with a semblance of PL football skills or move on!

I cant stand the way we set up in these games. It might be a decent strategy if we had someone in midfield who could receive and retain the ball but we haven't.

We’d be wide open and be losing by double, Steve would lose his job sooner because people would be questioning what the hell he was doing.

As a Forest supporter the first goal is survival, that’s not going to be achieved with what you suggest.

On a positive note, Wozza doesn't look like the liability he's been in the pre season games.

Username accept your opinion but if all we are about is survival I rather be in a league where we can compete and be entertained by the football on show
