Jardim. If the board expect promotion this season and haven't got the patience to back Karanka they need to spend big money a lot bigger than they did in the summer. Phone him, give him what he wants, he knows the owner so we've already got an in. He's the only manager I can think of who could get us close.

Surely anyone who comes in must get us promoted this season otherwise what’s the point in changing it?

If we make the change and do not get promoted this season then Randall has to go too IMO.

The whole board need a reality check. It's not the one horse race Greek League. It's a bloody gruelling marathon and it takes managers time and money to drill their own players to have the ability and the mentality to get promoted.

Agreed, if that is their mindset then we’re no better off than when Fawaz was here.

This team / squad, although it does show times / matches of quality, is no better than a top ten side.

unrealistic expectation - easy to say AK backed with money but did he alone make those signings from Portugal ?

Always viewed this season as one of building some stability with an 8th to 10th place finish perfectly respectable. Next season was the one after which AK should be judged - yet more short termism! I’m not having this Fawaz comparison however - let’s get real guys.
