I like Hendo but part of me is starting to think that we should perhaps move on.

TBF Sniff, Ten Hag will at least want to talk to him at some point, possibly not until Man Utd return for pre-season. We don't know if they have had a conversation yet or not. I doubt Eric will run on just media reports about a player.

Plus, what alternatives would you recommend mate?

Dominik Livakovic would be a very good choice in my opinion.

And besides Livakovic there is also Jose Sa.

There are good and realistic alternatives out there if needs be.

If Henderson hasn't signed by 5pm on Monday I think we should move on.

I said a while back that we need to set a deadline but obviously we never did.

Not knowing whether we need to spend 20-30M on Henderson or signing another keeper for 5-6M must be having an effect on other deals we are interested in because we don't know how much we can manoeuvre cash wise.

Plenty of other goalkeepers out there.

But surely that would only be an issue if the entire budget for fees were no more than £55m before player sales?

Thought Turner was really good yesterday. I like the way he distributes quickly and his throws were very good. Couldn't fault him for either goal and he made one fantastic save low down.

It's a great problem to eventually have, but at full tilt, Henderson dominates his box far better than most including Turner. We looked a bit shakey defending crosses (until that goal!).

Time we dropped this pursuit and moved on.

Turner may well be a very good acquisition at the end of the day, especially as he will be getting plenty of game time.

Man U know what they've got.  Henderson is a better goaltender than Turner.  It may not cost us many points to have Turner instead, but it will cost us some.  Unfortunately for Forest, it will be a small number of points that will make the difference in the race to survival this season.

Also unfortunately, it we can't buy him when he's injured, I don't like our chances of buying him when he's healthy again.
