Joseph Adrian Worrall

I certainly wouldn't write Joe off yet.

He his still a very young man and still learning his trade.

He can and hopefully will still have a future with us.

Starts again today in Old Firm derby. Say what you like about scottish football but games dont get bigger than this.

Hope he does well today, I still think if he is good enough there he is more than good enough here. Many people including me are lamenting our lack of a commanding centre back, I honestly believe Joe can fill that role next season for us if he gets the chance.

The Rangers fans may not rate him - but Gerrard picking him for their biggest game of the season tells me he rates him!

That will be another fantastic experience for the lad.

I think he will come back a better player and a better character.

Rangers won 1-0 so Worrall played his part in helping Rangers keep a clean sheet.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

I Watched the game he made 2 absolutely fantastic tackles won headers put his foot through it when needed and made simple passes out from the back . I would have him over Heff and Fox every day of the week !!!! The lad is 100% committed and plays with pride ill take the odd mistakes if AK is sacked Joe will be recalled.

You can understand now why AK had no time to develop players like Worral and Yates. Why would he if he knows its shit or bust for promotion.

Yep, I said in July that Worrall would go on loan.

I’m not sure why Yates didn’t go out as well notwithstanding his good pre season. A proper DOF should be having a greater control on these aspects.

I really wonder what Metgod’s role was / is.

Get him back ! He looked excellent in a high pressure game yesterday. Just what we needed at Norwich.
