Johnson at home is a must for me.

Could there be a more ideal set of weaknesses for us to be playing against! Get the trebuchet out for every long throw and get BJ/TA running at Kiwor/Holding (really do not rate either) and we have a chance of scoring a couple of goals.

Feels like the game balances on not giving Odegaard space, counter attacking like the first goal vs Soton & Felipe shutting down Jesus.

Well only way Johnson plays is if he either goes with 4 at the back or leaves a midfielder out.
It’s a tough call, but one thing we can’t do is get out numbered in midfield and let Odegaard run the game.

I can’t see him not going with Yates, Mangala and Danilo.
Taiwo and MGW will play.
It’s Brennan or Worrall for me.

I think he'll pick Brennan over one of Yates or Mangala, however may come down to fitness as I think that was partly why he was rested last game.

No way he goes away from 3 CBs now, it looked so much more secure than 4 like against Southampton.

Agree with Reds73, we can’t weaken midfield, it would pull Danilo further back and neutralise his recent game. If we need three CB’s then Johnson doesn’t play. That wouldn’t be my preference so I would play him and four at the back, Worrall dropping to the bench to accommodate him.

Me too and I think Cooper will go for the 1 point first, so I predict Worrall in a back three.

Any chance of unleashing Johnson earlier than he did against Chelsea? Maybe around 60 minutes? I’d like we’re at 0-0 still (small mercies)

It will be the same starting 11 Brennan on the bench
Keep it tight if possible for 75 mins
Come on you mighty Reds

Just read an interesting stat.

The last time Man City dropped any league points was against Forest at the WFCG

Arsenal.........be warned!!!

I am sure Johnson will start.

Think we will just play the 1 up front be that Taiwo or Brennan. We definitely won’t see much of the ball and agree we can’t let them completely overrun us in midfield.

This is a game to snatch a point in whatever way we can, not to be appeasing those who say we should be attacking at home and “taking it to them”.

Taiwo will definitely 100% start if fit.
