On first viewing Danilo clearly had the tools to be a very good player, obviously and not surprisingly he didn't quite settle to the pace and unforgiving nature of the league. (Was it ManU when he dawdled on the ball and cost us?). But the more he's settling in the better he looks. Seen some interesting comparisons (Keane and Cohen) but I think he's different to anything we've had.

I'm going to say he's a bit of a hybrid potentially of one of our all time greats and one of our all time greats' sons.

Both had excellent timing and finishing ability.

If Danilo can be as good as Scotty and nearly as good as Webby we've potentially got a top player on our hands.

NB. Youngsters probably don't appreciate how good Webby was as we all mostly reminisce about our great European sides, but many people would have him in the starting line up of our all time great XI. But in his second spell, post cruciate and shall we say nowhere near as dynamic, his legacy was tarnished for a while. Still the best midfielder I've seen play for Forest though.

One of my first memories of us signing Danilo was a photo someone posted showing him coming out of a local supermarket with 2 arms full of tubes of Pringles I am sure somebody has had a word and now he has knuckled down and eats healthy Greek food hence the improvement in performances

I’d liken him to more of a highbrid of Webb’s guile and Keane’s running.

Or gemmill snr and O’Neill for us older patrons (with yates being like bowyer alongside to complete the picture!)

Pretty sure Webby and Birtles both got a double after the hatricks against Chelsea.

I was there too with my college flat mate who was a Chelsea fan.
Took me to a boozer afterwards and their keeper was in. We left after he pushed a female through the glass window of the pub… Tony Coton was it? Memory’s going…
