Who do you reckon it would be?  Apart from the obvious players like Brennan I wouldn't be surprised if Yates was targeted by an Everton or a Sheffield Utd type team. I reckon someone would take Dennis if we let him go cheapish and I also think Aurier would get a year somewhere.  Then there's Wood and Shelvey to consider. Are their Forest careers over before they've really started? A lot of clubs would want those two if they were affordable.

I could see Shelvey going to Burnley TBH. That would depend to a large extent on Cooper still being here next season though. If Cooper does leave for what ever reason, Shelvey gets a fresh chance under a new manager/Coach

If anyone is willing to take Shelvey off our hands we bite their hands off and move on!

I think Wood is still a useful asset personally if he's used more effectively. Not as a starter though unless it's in the championship!

Christ I had completely forgotten about Shelvey.

Does anybody else think Ethan Horvarth deserves a chance next season with us, irrespective of which league we are playing in, or do we sell him to Luton (if they want him)?

For me, I think we give him a chance TBH. 19 clean sheets in the Championship is no small feat at the end of the day.

Also, he would save us literally thousand's in wages, compared to the likes of Henderson and/or Navas, neither of whom will be playing for us next season, realistically.

What do others think? Do you think he is worth a chance or is it too much of a risk?

I think he does deserve a chance Tricky and I would imagine that he will get one in preseason. Whether he will do enough to impress Cooper or whoever our manager might be is any ones guess but after having a very good season with Luton (by all accounts) he deserves a chance with us in my opinion.

Don’t Luton have an option to sign Horvath? Would fully expect them to invoke it.

If we're in the championship I'd expect Horvath to have a good chance of being the starter. Not in the prem though although I'd prefer him to be backup if he was willing.

Alternatively, if we do go down Luton could pass us on the way up as they are in the play-offs? Horvath and the club would then have a decision to make!

That is a good point.

Fair point, got to presume we let him go in that scenario

Isn't he out of contract anyway?

Think he has another year.
