It would be nice if someone actually spelled out the real issue.
Clearly it’s more contract based than physical, and given our proper injuries this season, it might seem to be a case of biting off your nose to spite your face.

I have no idea but I wonder if we're suing Bayern or something on the basis that they've knowingly sold a player who's not fit for purpose.

On the basis his medical would have included full body scans etc, how on earth does it not get picked up by the doctors doing the scans ?
I seem to recall Percy saying that EM had sacked of the medical company we use who do the private medicals

Yes that is right and we started doing the medicals in Athens instead.

I would've assumed EM would've or should've put in a claim against the original medical company because the player wasn't fit for purpose when we spent money on him.

I guess there is some clause in the small print in the contract with the company providing the medicals, then they can’t be held accountable for this that and the other etc

A legal dispute with a third party company wouldn't stop him playing now though if he's fit. The fact that he hasnt played suggests to me we're trying to cancel the contract with either the player himself or with Bayern on the basis that one or the other has acted improperly in the transfer.

Yes that sounds very plausible

Thinking it through, it could well be possible that we're suing the player for the transfer fee, on the basis that he didn't disclose an injury before he signed. Im sure there must be some clause in a contract that requires the player to disclose such things.

Or maybe he has been injured and not in the 25 man playing squad?

He has stress fracture(s) and I think pure conjecture (I think) from someone I know has said he has a bone condition that may stop his career- none of which were disclosed by byern or the player…

Another two players injured last night, sounded like based on the interview Aurier was a pre-existing injury, didn't look great though. Yates looked like he got a knee in the back but whether that was an existing injury it's hard to tell. Taiwo looked exhausted by 60 too, think we can't expect him to play much more than that each game right now. Cooper is being made to work for it!
I'd of thought we'd have wanted to go back three next weekend against Chelsea, particularly if we have no fit Right Back. No idea who would play RWB though, Worrall actually played really well as a makeshift RB I thought.
