That's weird because I thought a new manager automatically guaranteed you an improvement?

It does usually because a new manager is certain to make all the right substitutions that everyone agrees with at exactly the right time and would never pick a player that divides opinion amongst the supporters.

I'm worried now Leeds will improve after the harsh criticism they've received. A bit like us after Leicester thumped us.

You did also predict Leeds and Southampton would win at HT.

Think there hoping for there 2nd manager bounce of the season. He's about to be sacked.. they should of kept Marcelo.. same with saints and Ralph. Both good managers for mid table teams

No it guarantees nothing but more often than not teams see an initial improvement.

Thank God we didn't stick with Hughton last season.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

An initial improvement that often then drops up after a few games.

Obviously it can work, particularly if you have an unsuccessful coach at that time or someone really highly regarded is available.

However, in general it will fail more times than it'll succeed. You don't need me to list how many times it didn't work for us before Cooper.

One thing that has pissed me off about cooper reign is the absolute lack of professionalism at half time amongst the subs - no warming up just kicking a ball and pissing about. Brighton had staff warming up their subs properly.

100% Ozzy and I have thought this for a long time, since way way before Cooper.

If you want to apportion blame for that, not sure who to be honest?
Is it on Cooper? Does he really need to spell it out to the subs to go and warm up in a professional manner? We are talking experienced professional sportsmen earning millions of £ a year.
Is it the physio staff? Where on earth were they at half time whilst our subs looked bored, flicking a ball about like they couldn’t be arsed?
I remain convinced many injuries we have sustained were preventable.
