I don't want to watch the team that I've loved for over 60 years play like that. Total defence, total inability to pass and an absolute refusal to maintain possession. We might be better off long term going down and changing the whole set up and approach.

Agreed, this is no long term strategy. But being able to build in the premier league is better that having to rebuild in the championship

It’s fair to say that we won’t dominate, but 1 win away all season is very poor. We are tactically clueless away from home which is strange compared to our home performances. Today was a real chance to capitalise on being 1-0 up and create some daylight between us and the other teams. On the back of the Brighton game we would have build up some momentum. Southampton game looks absolutely huge now, but I think it might not be enough to win that on its own.

The thing is Salv I think with our quality players on the pitch this season we're out of trouble now no problem.  Amd thats after the really poor start we made. Its just every time we get some momentum we lose players and it feels like we get f****d over by a higher power.
