Such a shame - when will we learn?

I thought Jardim was linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs, not Forest, surely?
"Are you Fawaz in disguise?" chants at the ready.
Worries me that an owner wouldn invest 25m in a manager who he's knowingly prepred to move on after 6 months.

Cant believe an incoming manager would attend a game before the incumbent was sacked.

I just can’t stand football these days... he is doing a good job with the players he has. I doubt many are his first choice - just Grabban and possibly Dawson - he also went ant got Lolley who is great. We have been shithoused by 2 away championship sides and then 15 minutes away from a perfect away performance against the leagues second placed side.

I despair I honestly do.
We're on the verge a being a really good side and the owner's going to piss all over it.

I bet we have a break in his contract whereby by this stage he and staff get a reduced payoff. Clinical businessmen. I didn’t wNt warburton sacked nor Pearce nor SOD. I could take some of the others but FFS! by god I don’t want Karanka sacked.
PERCY ARTICLE:
26 Dec 2018, 08:25pm Aitor Karanka is on the brink at Nottingham Forest after the chaotic 3-3 draw with Norwich. Karanka’s reign as Forest manager is precarious after less than 12 months in charge with owner Evangelos Marinakis considering taking action for the club’s failure to reach the top six. Telegraph Sport understands Karanka was under strict instructions to secure a place in the play-offs by January 1, following a significant transfer spend in the summer. But Forest are tenth in the Championship after throwing away a 3-0 lead at automatic promotion contenders Norwich. It is believed Karanka’s position is being discussed by the Forest board and he may get the game at Millwall on Saturday, but the Spaniard is unquestionably facing the end of his tenure. Karanka was appointed as Mark Warburton’s replacement in January this year and signed 17 players in the summer, including the £13.2m record capture of Portuguese midfielder Joao Carvalho. After the draw at Carrow Road, Karanka said: “I can only be concerned about things that are in my hands. I cannot care about things that are not in my hands. “I know myself and I know my job. I know what I did in Middlesbrough. I have to try to do the same here. “I can only be concerned about things that are in my hands. I cannot care about things that are not in my hands.” Forest have also surprisingly lost home games against Preston and QPR this month to increase the pressure on the former Middlesbrough manager. |
