Imagine Adidas will be a bit miffed if we get relegated first though!

Nottingham Forest Women won the Women's National League Cup yesterday. They're also in with a great chance of winning their division which I think then leads to a playoff for promotion to the Women's Championship which is the level below the WSL.

Its Charlotte Greengrass.

Yes the women top of the league, win the last game and its a play off for the Womens Championship probably vs Oxford Utd.

Possibly that becomes a crunch point as the current team are not professionals, not sure if they are at Championship level but it would be a significant step up.

Where you have to give credit again is to Marinakis who brought the womens team into the wider set up in a one club philosophy. I see no reason to believe he wouldn’t continue to invest in the womens team further were they to need more funding to progress.
