Nottingham Forest - Manchester United
I know we were thoroughly outplayed but yet again we were fucked by VAR. That was such a blatant penalty on Maguire and the non red card, whilst being irrelevant was Still clearly wrong.

Be interesting what those who went to the game think. From my point of view sat in front of the telly it looked like a practice match.

No one expects us to beat man utd but I think we should expect some kind of competitiveness from a home side. We're so far behind.

Yet again I find myself agreeing with you Wassy, Freuler is always behind the play and MGW is a "show pony" lots of running around and no end product!

Players play to how they are coached. And told what to do, how do they excel at international level. But change to poor when they get back to club level

Agree Wassy. The rule is if your arm is in an unnatural position its a penalty. Maguires arm what out perpendicular to his body. Unbelievable.

Freuler was terrible again, non existent as was MGW. Not sure what you're seeing to suggest these guys are able to.do that!

I dont want to turn this into a Cooper in/out rant but should we not be expecting international footballers to be able to play a few passes under pressure?

I dont want  Cooper sacking now, but it'd be really interesting to see if another coach could get this lot playing a bit more. I reckon it's possible.

Yes we should I agree, I'm not sure how a different bloke standing on the touchline would suddenly turn these guys into world beaters though.

They might set them up in a better formation and might  be able to put some fire into their bellies!

Also, international football is a lot easier than the Premier League. These guys just aren't good enough. I think there's a decent player in Danilo but he's raw. Freuler I don't think is suited to the prem, it's too fast for him. MGW looks good at times but I think he needs to be playing in a team with more possession than we do.

Another relevant point to make about the game today was that even Neville was saying on commentary very early in the 1st half how easy it was for the MU midfield 3 (all world class players) against our 2, so much room to play it around. SC failed yet again to address these issues and continued with 2 midfield players until he changed to a 3 on 80mins when the game had gone?
