The point I keep making is these are not our choices. Complain about the system all you want but this isn't the club's fault.

It's not the rule to send Kouyate to Senegal when he was not called up into the squad in the first place.
It's not the rule for an injured player like Chris Wood (he was substituted at Tottenham with a thigh injury and could not have played against Newcastle last week even if he was eligible) to join up with his country if he is currently injured.

I am absolutely 100% sure that the Nottingham Forest treatment room would have been a better option.
