Now to see what Everton and West Ham do this weekend
West Ham arent playing this weekend

It's hard to figure why we should deteriorate whilst those around us improve but I suspect the way last year's squad was decimated still has it's impact. The togetherness of last year has been replaced by a disjointed group of virtual strangers who whilst they might respect each other only occasionally are on the same wavelength. If we go down it's hard to figure what the team will look like but I'm sure it will be back to basics.

I think if we'd been lucky with injuries and hadn't felt the need to have another wave of signings in Jan we probably wouldn't be in this situation.
We were playing some good football at the point where key players started dropping off.
We've also had some honking officiating go against us.

Great result at Chelsea for Everton. Another side playing with desire and belief they can stay up.

Yes, Everton look well up for it. Also Southampton have won 2 and drawn 2 of their last 6 games.

Everton are doing what we can't. Win at home draw away.

Probably right mate. And if we'd sacked Cooper and got him in it might have seen us over the line but you can't deny the injuries we've had would have hampered any manager.
I'm really hurting with our demise at the moment. Now is the time after this International break for Cooper to step up and show us what he's all about and prove the football world/pundits that "30 signings, giving a f**k Nottingham Forest are staying up."
We'll have nearly a fully fit squad after the break it's time to stand up and be counted, us fans are doing our bit on the terraces.

I'd argue its on the players to show they are able to stay up. Cooper can only do so much. He did everything to that was asked of him this week and we still got battered.
Also, you're all talking as if we didn't battle. We only lost due to a last minute penalty, Everton. Leeds and Saints were all battered too. We were not good of course but I don't think it's fair to say we didn't battle well.

Everton, Leeds and Saints all picked up points and we didn't.
I haven't done the maths but I think we have 2 points from the last 18 available.
No excuses, that is a terrible return.
