These kinds of runs happen in the prem. Im willing to cut him some slack and point to the injuries as a mitigating factor. Its the absolutely pathetic away record that deserves a lot of criticism in my eyes. Its the worst in the entire country. Utterly pathetic. Its the same week on week. We dont look remotely like we can get a result. And its not down to players. We had a PSG keeper, and two of Athletico Madrid's back 4 from last season on the pitch. Plus seasoned pros in Shelvey, Aurier, a £45m player in MGW and the most promising young talent in the country, all on the pitch. And yet they all look like a rabbit in the headlights at every single away game. Thats down to the manager to put right and he cant.

I agree Pap. Many rate Steve Cooper very highly and rightly so but he needs to step up now and start proving his worth.

You keep wanting to go back one game more to dress it up a bit better but I think going back 5 games is more than enough.
The game going back one game more that you refer to is Leeds, we somehow managed to win but we were second best and they actually hammered us.
City could have hammered us too. Like I said it could be easily 0 points.
Cooper needs to start earning his money.
It could've easily been 5 too as we were close to beating Everton and to getting something st Fulham.
I'll ask again how many points did you expect from that run?

Of course it matters, that's ridiculous. If we have harder games we're gonna get worse results.
It's a massive pet hate of mine. Football fans (and boards) completely ignoring the difficulty of the fixtures to determine how well they've done.

We can argue all we want. Coops in or out.. at the end of the day evangelos will try his hardest to keep us in the league, and if that means upsetting fans for sacking coops then it won't phase him, we can throw stats, and fixtures and what ever, but he won't want us relegated... Coops has had plenty of chances to sort this away form out. Even a 6 week winter pre season. We keep saying international break soon, he will learn and get it sorted, I think that every break, he's had 3/4 to toy with it. This is the first international break coming up where I have thought, he might actually get sacked

7 points for me draws are no good to anyone I have just seen that Ayew penalty what a pathetic effort and worrall school boy effort on their penalty he would of been subbed straight off for me yet another awful performance

Don't think he will get sacked but EM will be having nightmares.
For the first time Steve looks a bit lost and at present I think it's fair to say that he's struggling to come up with the answers.
I don't get this 'it doesn't matter if we go down as long as Cooper stays' attitude either.
My club is Nottingham Forest it's not Steve Cooper.
Steve doesn't just become a bad manager over night so fingers crossed he can still turn this present situation around.

This is what I disagree with, I don't think he is looking lost.
I think we've had a hard run of matches which we inevitably didn't do well in. Combined with a bunch of injuries to key players to an already weak squad.
I just don't get why people think we should automatically be getting more points than we are? Because we spent loads of money? So did everyone else!

I'm not disagreeing with that, I just don't think anyone else would be doing any better. I think anyone else would be having the exact same issues that Cooper is away from home.
