Maybe Scarpa just isnt putting it in in training and is struggling to come to terms with a british winter tagged onto the end of a Brazilian season. We've got to trust that Cooper's getting those calls right as we have zero info about the private goings-on at the club.

Must make it even harder when he's not playing.

I think id struggle to be in top top form in training in the bloody freezing cold of January and February, and now the snow in March, and I'm born and bred british. Let alone carting my family half way across the world. And Scarpa had a really good season in Brazil so probably put a huge shift in with his club to get them over the line. I'm willing to be patient.

Would be delighted to see Scarpa in the No.10 role on Friday, drop Jesse. Danilo in the middle with Ryan and Jonjo, I’m convinced we’d be a completely different team.

In reality I look forward to another pedestrian performance from Remo and Colback, at least Wood isn’t likely to feature. I hate to be so negative, but the last few performances have been absolutely abhorrent to watch - we must shake things up!

Scarpa been scammed.

With quotes from Cooper now explaining this is why he's not been involved recently. Aside from the distress on a personal level for Scarpa which is obviously upsetting for him. Yet another player unavailable for us, our luck continues!

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that he was only there for a day to appear in court & that he's back already.
I can't think where I saw it now & I have no idea if he is in any position to play on Friday even if he is back. I hope so.
